REVIEW: Mad Hippie Face Cream

We received our first snowfall last night, only a dusting, but I know Winter is right around the corner and I need to make sure that I am ready to battle the harsh cold winter months in every aspect.  I am always on the hunt for the very best skin care products to protect and nourish my skin.  So it is with such excitement that I share my latest skin care discovery with you.  Mad Hippie offers an extensive range of natural, safe skin care products to protect the skin from the harmful effects of environmental factors.  Their goal is to create the safest, most effective products on the market using scientifically advanced actives coupled with Mother Nature's finest antioxidants.  So be prepared to be intrigued and fascinated with Mad Hippie as I already am.

Here at Mad Hippie we take skin care seriously, but we also take corporate responsibility seriously.

We know and appreciate the faith a customer puts into a company when buying their line, and that’s why we strive to always make the safest, most effective products possible. Unfortunately, the beauty care industry is riddled with companies that are strictly profit-minded and willing to fill their products with anything if it is cheap, regardless of the health consequences to the consumer. Call us hippies, but we just don’t feel that’s right.

Here at Mad Hippie we wouldn’t put anything into our skin care products that we wouldn’t feel comfortable putting on to our own skin. Ever.

It can’t stop there though. We also take our responsibility to the planet seriously and that’s why we are always working to further reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment. From recently switching to some of the only BPA-free, fully recyclable airless pumps on the market, to printing entirely with soy inks, to running our entire facility off of alternative energy, Mad Hippie is dedicated to the preservation of the environment.

So, give our natural skin care products a try and feel good knowing you are taking a step towards healthier, more beautiful skin, while we work together towards a healthier, more beautiful planet.

Coenzyme Q10 - Reduces fine lines and wrinkles by energizing cells and aiding in skin’s natural ability to produce collagen, elastin and other crucial molecules. Also inhibits free radical and sun damage.

Resveratrol - Super potent antioxidant from wine and grapes shown to reduce the effects of aging and UV damage.

Green Tea - Protects against free radical damage while increasing skin’s resilience through its anti inflammatory and anti carcinogenic properties.

Vitamin B3 - Energizes cells while aiding in metabolism of glucose and synthesis of lipids. Has strong antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic qualities and has been shown to reduce the harmful effects of ultra violet rays, help even skin tone and enhance collagen production.

Argan Oil - Natural healing agent from Northern Africa. High source of vitamin E, essential fatty acids and phytosterols. Attributed with naturally healing scar tissue, moisturizing the skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles.

Grape Seed Extract - One of nature’s most potent antioxidants, shown to inhibit UV generated skin damage and protect skin from free radicals.

Acai Berry - Super antioxidant from Brazil that increases levels of hydroxyproline, a vital amino acid required for the synthesis of collagen and elastin.

I was not planning to list every super star ingredient contained in this Mad Hippie Face Cream, but as I learned more and more about each one and the benefits of them all, I felt compelled to point them all out to you.  I don't think I have ever used a face cream before that has so many truly superior ingredients in it until now, until this outstanding face cream from Mad Hippie.  I have only been using it for a week now, but already I can say I think it is extraordinary!  It is genuine flower power, natural antioxidants and active essentials that work hand in hand to liberate the skin from signs of aging.  All the ingredients work together to achieve true harmony and my skin is loving the TLC treatment!

From the moment I pumped a dollop of this rich luxurious face cream on my skin, it glides like silk onto the skin and my skin glows with luminous happiness.  You can smell the natural ingredients, it is such a blissful ritual, and I feel a sense of peace of mind knowing that this product is safe and pure for my skin.  The cream is rich and robust, very hydrating, but not overly so.  It is definitely great for my dry skin, but it can work with all skin types.  It is gentle and calming, and you can feel it being absorbed into your skin, slowly feeding it with the nutrients it longs for.

My skin is feeling rejuvenated and I can tell that already that collagen production is being enhanced by the peptides.  I cannot give this product anything but my highest praise and recommendation.

I am so thrilled to be able to kick start this winter season with a face cream that is going to work magic to keep my skin radiant and healthy throughout the bitter cold winter months.

This concludes my review.
