REVIEW: UNISEX SCENTSTORY FRAGRANCES - Experience 24

Not sure what to get the special people in your life for the holidays?  How about a very unique and alluring fragrance that appeals to both women and men!   ScentStory is a fragrance company that created a line of unisex fragrances that are magnificent!  There are several 24 fragrances that were created to captivate your senses and indulge your mind.  I was given an opportunity to review three of them and they are fabulous!  Exceptionally well crafted, these luxurious fragrances are reasonably priced and will delight you.   Let me briefly introduce ScentStory to you:

This holiday season give your loved one the gift of confidence and adventure!  I am a firm believer that the right fragrance can literally give you confidence and a feeling that you can conquer anything.  That is precisely what the 24 collection of unisex fragrances were created to do.  Give one a feeling of control, a sense of power, and after having the opportunity to experience three of 24's top key fragrances, I do believe they are successful at achieving that goal.

24 GOLD ELIXIR by ScentStory

DESCRIPTION:

MY THOUGHTS:

The 24 Gold Elixir arrives housed in a very couture and elegant black and gold gift box.  It is a very impressive first impression.  The bottle is sensational, anyone will feel so honored to receive this magnificent fragrance as a gift.  I cannot express enough what a robust, exotic fragrance this is, and very long lasting.  The longevity of the scent stayed with me all day. 

The amber oud is the aroma that I first detect.  It is luxurious and very pleasing.  Next I was able to breathe in the sweet oriental-like  scents.  This is a very complex fragrance with a lot of fascinating notes swirling and toying with your senses.  It is enticing with honey, rose, cocoa and vanilla to appeal to one's sweet side.  Then you have pine, saffron, cardamon, cedar and amber to appeal to your outdoorsy side.  And what a glorious combination they all make when combined!  It fragrance sort of reminds me of being in a middle eastern desert with the warmth and aromas of spices that fill the air there.  A real winner!


24 PLATINUM ELIXIR by ScentStory

MY THOUGHTS:

The 24 Platinum Elixir also comes housed in a very sleek and sophisticated gift box.  It makes for such a brilliant gift presentation!  This fragrance is very different from the 24 Gold Elixir.  The two are like night and day.  This is a very dry fragrance, yet it offers sweet notes to entice the senses.  This is a very crisp and clean smelling scent.

You can detect fruity apricot notes, and as you wear it, it transform to a more woodsy, cedar aroma, a bit leathery scent, which it wonderful.  I like a fragrance that changes as you are wearing it.  I know everyone will adore this fragrance, it is very alluring.

If you prefer leathery, frankincense type fragrances, then this is the 24 fragrance for you.  It is a cooler, chrome and leather scent, where the Gold Elixir is a warmer more exotic scent.


24 GOLD THE FRAGRANCE by ScentStory

MY THOUGHTS:

The 24 Gold The Fragrance is truly remarkable!  When you first inhale this fragrance it sort of reminds me of cherry pie, or maybe tobacco, and a mix of both!  That is very unique composition, and, it works!  This may be my favorite of the three 24 fragrances I am reviewing,  although they are all so different from one another, I really can't make that comparison.

Then as you are wearing the scent, you begin to notice the spicey orange and vanilla aromas.  To describe this scent is difficult, it is creamy, sweet, you also notice the amber in it, and you sense a smoldering of oud incense.

I love that this scent lasts on you for hours and hours.  One spray is enough.  It is hard to believe it is a toilette not a parfum!  I put it on in the morning, and at dinner time I can still smell it!  Although the scent is much different later in the day than when you initially apply it. It is a very rich and robust scent, and I love the amber notes in it.  Another winner!

REVIEW: KAT BURKI FRAGRANCES

Kat Burki fragrances are absolutely enchanting!  I think by now you all know how important it is to me that I smell pretty.  First and foremost, it is for me that I want to exude a lovely aroma, and secondly it is for everyone else to enjoy.  It is with such excitement and enthusiasm that I tell you about two of Kat Burki's amazing fragrances that have won my heart and they are surely going to win over yours.  I fell in love with some of Kat Burki's skincare products last month, you can read my review about them HERE , and now I am totally enamored with her fragrances as well. They are my top picks for holiday gift giving this season!

MY REVIEW

The gracious folks over at Kat Burki sent me two delightful fragrances to review.  I was so impressed with the Kat Burki skin care products I reviewed recently, that I wanted to introduce you all to Kat Burki fragrances too.  With the holidays quickly approaching, these fragrances will make splendid holiday gifts!  And, don't forget about yourself, you really should treat yourself to a positively irresistible new fragrance so you can feel beautiful at all the upcoming holiday festivities!  Here are my suggestions:



TUBÉREUSE ESSENTIAL EAU DE PARFUM
Size:  3.4 fl. oz.

DESCRIPTION:

A sophisticated, intriguing and layered version of the original Tuberose fragrance. With lightness and clarity, it evokes a woman’s inner confidence and sensuality. Its harmonizing fresh green notes, ephemeral florals and soft spices are purely irresistible.

FRAGRANCE NOTES

MY THOUGHTS:

Kat Burki fragrances arrive housed in beautiful and very elegantly designed boxes.  That makes for a memorable first impression.  I knew I was in for a special experience from the moment I held the heavy box in my hand.  When I opened the box and pulled out the classy, gorgeous bottle of  Tubéreuse, I immediately surmised how exquisite the bottle is, a work of art itself.  It is a stunning bottle and the fragrance inside is equally triumphant!

Tubéreuse is a very feminine, intensely fragranced scent, but not overwhelming by any means.  It is sexy, exotic, sweet, and quite alluring.  When you spray it on yourself, it is a "wow" moment.  You will say out loud oooh and ahhhh for the first few moments.  Then you will be addicted to smelling yourself, we all have done that before.  You will do that with  Tubéreuse.

The fragrance is full strength for a couple of hours, then it begins to tone itself down, but still very much noticeable.  I like that it starts out strong, it captivates your senses and indulges your mind, then it softens and keeps you aware of its presence, but in a more subtle manner.

I would say this fragrance is ageless and timeless.  Any woman would be thrilled to receive it as a gift, it is a heavenly fragrance that is filled with splendor and will make you feel so beautiful and good all over.  You only need to spray a few spritzes to bask yourself in its brilliant glory.  I love it.




ENDLESS SUMMER EAU DE PARFUM
Size:  3.4 fl. oz.

DESCRIPTION:

A distinctive, radiant and divine fragrance with unique presence and crisp fresh notes. Its unmistakable character, infused with zesty and sparkling Bergamot creates a glorious state of mind of All Things Possible.

MY THOUGHTS:

This is another winner!  It is totally different from Tubéreuse, this is a much more contemporary scent, where Tubéreuse is a more romantic sensual fragrance.  Endless Summer is the perfect scent to wear by day, to work, or wherever your day time journey takes you.  It is a very uplifting, invigorating scent, it really fills your senses with positive energy and you feel like you can conquer anything and everything.

I love the confidence that Endless Summer brings out in me.  The aroma is refreshing and emanates serenity.  People will notice the crisp, fresh fragrance notes, and it will make them feel the same positive energy you are experiencing.  It is like spreading uplifting love to all those around you.

This is another fragrance that really is well suited for all women.  No matter what your usual fragrance preferences are, this one is going to be appealing to you because of the optimistic power it has over you when you are wearing it.  Who doesn't want that?!  Women of all ages will be drawn to the carefree, youthful scent of Endless Summer, and I imagine that even in the dead of winter, when you spray some of this on yourself, it will whisk you away to a warm sunny place where you can forget about the chill in the air surrounding you.  

I tend to gravitate towards colognes that have citrus notes in it, and the mix in Endless Summer is by far superior than any I have used in the past.  The combination of top, middle and base notes in this scent is genius!  I adore this fragrance just as much as I do with Tubéreuse, but for total opposite reasons.  Endless Summer will make an outstanding holiday gift for your Mom, Sister, BFF, they will be thrilled with it.

MY REVIEW

I was given an opportunity to select a few different Coolway USA styles to review.  Coolway USA offers a huge selection of unique boots, so I mean seriously, how do I narrow it down to just a few when they are all totally awesome!  The only way I could possibly make my choices was to think strategically in terms of how can I best showcase such a remarkable brand so you can all see the very best of what is available from this brilliant company.

And so it goes, I chose a lace up style (BRING),  a contemporary western (CALIOPE), a buckle (ALIDA), a suede (AZALEA) and a military combat (MC12).  Let me mention, once my friends saw my stash, I was lucky to get out with at least one pair for myself, as everyone wanted a pair, and they did not care which one or if they fit!  It was unanimous, everyone loved them all!

HERE THEY ARE:

NOTE:  Rather than repeat this for each pair of boots, because it is true for them all, I want to comment on the exquisite quality of the boots.  They are crafted in Spain, by expert shoemakers, and each pair is made of the finest leathers and materials, the most superior quality you can imagine and they are durable to stand the test of wear and tear and time!

BRING BOOTS

MY THOUGHTS:

I received the BRING Coolway USA boots in the color Black.   I selected this boot because of its "Colorado Mountain" hiking boot vibe.  When I look at the style of these boots, it reminds me of spending a day hiking through mountain trails in Colorado.  They are hip and so down to earth cool!  I absolutely love all the design elements of this low rise boot.  I think this style is versatile enough to wear on breezy Fall days or super cold Winter days.  I also think it will work well with jeans and leggings, or even a cute skirt with tights. I have already styled it with a pair of black leggings and a long tan tunic and denim jacket. 

 The boots came with solid black shoe laces and the two-tone brown laces you see that I have chosen to use.  You can mix and match the laces together or apart as I have done.

These boots are soooo comfortable and feel like a dream on my feet.

CALIOPE BOOTS

MY THOUGHTS:

I received the CALIOPE Coolway USA Boots in the color Brown.  I selected this style because of its "Texas Roadhouse" vibe.  If you want to put a western edge to your look, these are the boots for you!  They have removable leather and chain embellishments, however, I choose to leave the leather straps on as I believe that is what makes this boot so appealing.  When you put on these low rise boots, they feel amazing on your feet, super comfy, and you will want to do a little foot stomping dancing because your feet will feel so happy wearing them.

ALIDA BOOTS

MY THOUGHTS:

I chose the ALIDA Coolway USA boots in the color Black.  This seasons hottest boots are all about buckles!  These ALIDA Boots are Coolways USA current best sellers.  I can certainly see why, they are unbelievably off the chart awesome!  They are a little edgy, a little bit rock and roll, a little bit biker, and a whole lot of cool!  I have been wearing these with all my skinny jeans and black leggings, and I don't want to take them off my feet!  They are ultra comfortable, the ultimate in a fashion forward pair of boots that is also blissful to walk in.  I love the high back of the boots, and the lower dip on the front side of the boots.  It not only makes for an unexpected chic look, but it is a great way to make your legs appear more slender, yes, the boots are a way to look instantly slimmer....... in my opinion!

MC-12 BOOTS

MY THOUGHTS:

I received the MC12 Coolway USA Boots in the color Black.  Everyone must have at least one Military style boot in their possession this season.  I prefer the more classic military style, like these, because you can wear them with literally any type of outfit!  I've been wearing these with jeans, leggings and even skirts with tights!  From the second you put them on, they embrace your feet and you forget you are wearing boots at all.  They are very comfortable to wear and I know they are going to last me forever!

AZALEA BOOTS
Price:  $89.95
Available In:  BLACK, BROWN and TAUPE

MY THOUGHTS:

I received the AZALEA Coolway USA Boots in Brown.  The first thing that came to my mind when I first saw them was that they reminded me of an Australian brand of boots, who shall remain nameless, except this style is a more polished, sleeker version of what I was thinking of.  You catch my drift......  It took a second for my Mom, yes my Mom, to claim dibs on them.  I mention this because I want to make clear that although the young people today have embraced the Coolway USA brand instantly, the Coolway USA styles appeal to people of all ages!  You are only as old as you allow yourself to look and feel.  My Mom loves fashion, she loves to look stylish and keep up with current fashion trends, and she immediately was drawn to this delightful AZALEA boot.  I have to say these boots are one of the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn!  Your feet are literally hugged with soft fleece, every single part of your foot is engulfed in fleece, it is an incredible pampering feeling for your foot!

On a final note, I bought a can of suede and leather waterproof treatment and I sprayed each pair of boots with it.  I know without a shadow of a doubt that these boots will be able to endure our New York harsh winters, the frigid temps and extreme wet and snowy conditions and they will come out armed and ready to be worn season after season.  These boots are fine leather works of art that will get better and better with age!
