Review: ERGE Designs

On a hot humid sultry summer day there are two things you want, to be comfortable & at the same time to look fabulous, right? Well, on my hunt to find some really cool, sexy, hip summer clothes I came across ERGE Designs and it was love at first sight with almost everything that I saw! But the love affair does not stop visually, because the clothes are rendered in the lightest, softest most glorious fabrics I have felt in a very long time! The fabrics are rendered in some bright, colorful, visually beautiful patterns and the styles are fun, flirty and sexy. That is why it is with such excitement that I include ERGE Designs in my Sizzling Summer 2010 Guide.

High-end cotton contemporary clothier, ERGE Designs announces the re-launch of their innovative e-commerce site, www.ergedesigns.com. Showcasing their most current fashions and designs, wholesalers can view the latest deliveries, customers will be able to purchase all of their ERGE favorites in just one click and fans can follow the brand on their social networking sites as well as learn more about the company and the designer.

Featuring new graphics, a new layout and celebrity television personality Adrianna Costa in an exclusive Erge photo shoot, the website has been re-worked to better serve the ERGE customer. “Our main goal is to hone in on what the customer is seeking and make it as simple and pleasant as possible to fulfill their needs,” says ERGE co-founder, David Keeton. In addition, through the website, is a viewing of the latest addition to the ERGE company, an ERGE Outlet Store. Located at 1404 Micheltornea St (at the corner of Sunset) in the trendy Sunset Junction area of Los Angeles, the store features the ERGE collection of t-shirts, dresses, hoodies and scarves along with designer jewelry and accessories. MY REVIEW

The gracious folks over at ERGE Designs sent me a few samples for my review. Seeing the clothes in reality is just as impressive as seeing them online. The fabric is what first thrilled me! Each piece is so super soft and luxurious feeling against your skin. Parts of the fabric on a couple of the items is semi-sheer so the fabric is "breathable" when you are wearing it, terrific in this extreme heat! Then there are the gorgeous bright and cheerful patterns and colors of the fabric, just delightful to wear! Here are some of the pieces I received:

MY THOUGHTS: The designs are simple which I think is what makes them so appealing. Although there is nothing basic about the fabric patterns which makes these two elements so complimentary with each other! The tops can be worn casually with just about any kind of bottom you can imagine, shorts, capris, long skirts, mini skirts, jeans, dress slacks, you name it, you can make these versatile tops work with anything you have in your existing wardrobe.

The dresses are long enough that you don't have to feel self conscious that you are exposing "yourself" too much, yet they are not too long that you are going to swelter in them. You can add a little tank under them for that layered look or you can wear them as is on those extra hot hazy summer days. I personally love the Zipper dress as a bathing suit coverup when I go to the beach, it is just perfect for that!

The tops and dresses I received are constructed very well, the quality of each piece is clearly visible with everything from using very fine fabrics to the highest level of craftsmanship. I always wash each item before writing up my reviews to test out how well they hold up after being washed, and each item came out wonderful after being washed. I always use the gentle cycle on our washing machine when I clean my clothes, for some reason I never feel my own clothes need that much aggitation. I also never put my clothes in the dryer, I always line dry them. So that is how I washed each item from ERGE Designs and they look fantastic and like new.

ERGE Designs hit it right on the mark when they were able to feature Adrianna Costa in their latest ERGE Designs photo shoot, the ERGE Clothing looks stunning on her and I can honestly say that they will make you look lovely too! The clothes are darling, flirty, sexy and so feminine and you won't believe how they will make you look your personal best when you put them on.
