Oh my goodness Rowenta, you had me at First Class! You got that right, this Rowenta First Class Compact Travel Iron is a classic Rowenta work horse! It may be compact, but don't let its smaller size fool you, it works equally impressively as it larger counterparts! I am using this nifty compact travel iron all the time, even when I am not traveling on the road. It is fantastic!

The generous folks at Rowenta sent me the Rowenta First Class Compact Travel Iron as part of an online promotion. I had originally thought it would be ideal for use when we are traveling and want our clothes to look sleek and smooth in spite of the fact that they had been packed. But I've discovered that this iron works so efficiently, I am ditching my old iron and now using this as my one and only iron.

MY THOUGHTS:
I was using a very old iron, I think I bought it at least 15 years ago. It is big, heavy, bulky and the steam feature no longer works on it. My Mom has a Rowenta iron and on those occasions that she needs help with her ironing, I always am happy to pitch in and help with it because using her Rowenta iron makes ironing fun, easy and actually relaxing!
I knew I wanted to ditch my old iron for a new sleek Rowenta iron, so I began following Rowenta on the social networks. I wanted to stay connected with them so I could learn about all their latest product offerings and promotions. So imagine how thrilled I was to be able to receive a terrific new iron as a result of following them!
I am over the moon happy with my new Rowenta First Class Compact Travel Iron. So much so, I felt compelled to write this review so I could share with you all about this marvelous iron. At a price point of only $39.90 you get the benefits of a small, lightweight iron, that can work as your at home or on the road iron. It offers all the bells and whistles of a full size iron, only in a smaller version. Now how incredible is that!
The iron really is not all that small when it is fully opened. But I find it is easier to maneuver because it is small and can fit into creases and corners of clothing so much easier. It is lightweight which makes ironing a breeze! The cord is full length so you do not lose any flexibility there either. And I love the way the smooth microsteam stainless steel soleplate glides effortlessly over my fabrics!!
The steam feature works like a wonder. It takes one second to steam away wrinkles. I cannot believe that such a compact iron can pack such a powerful push of steam! I love that you can give it that burst of steam for those extra hard to get out wrinkles. And no need to worry about burning any of your clothes or other ironing items. With an easy to adjust temperature control, you can use this iron on any kind of fabric imaginable, and all your fabric types can be smooth as silk with this innovative iron.
And, talk about convenient with the vertical steam wrinkle remover, ideal for keeping your hanging items looking like new when you are traveling or in a hurry and want to do that last minute touch up! And, the nice size water tank holds over 2 ounces of tap water, so you won't have to keep refilling it with water, it will last you quite a while!
I am so super happy and thrilled with my new iron. I think it is a great gift idea too for the person who has everything. Imagine their surprise to get such a keen distinctive gift like this, and they will never realize how useful it is until they see all the ways they can use it! I have been using mine on shirts, slacks, dresses, curtains, tablecloths, slipcovers, and this is just the beginning! It has all the power of a full size iron, but it fits easily into any kind of travel bag you have because of its smaller discrete size. I keep mine stored in the travel bag and have it sitting right in the front of my linen closet shelf. I can grab it in an instant, plug it in and in seconds I am good to go, it heats up quickly and effectively!
